We are aware of an issue affecting the HDBR Gene Expression Portal. Following a change to the Image Data Resource (IDR) policy, HDBR images are no longer available to view in the IDR online viewer. Instead a link to download the image is provided.

Smaller files such as jpgs and tiffs may open directly in your browser. However higher resolution scanned images will require specialist software. .czi files can be viewed using the ZEISS ZEN software while Aperio Imagescope can be used to view .scn, .svs and .ndpi files.

We are working with IDR to convert the HDBR files to a format that can be displayed in their online viewer, and we apologise for the inconvenience.
